What is Soffit?

The soffit is the area where the roof overhangs the side walls of your house. The most important aspect of soffit is achieving required ventilation. In order for your attic to vent properly and prevent ice shields and moisture buildup, your home needs to intake air through the soffit. We install regular and vented panels for this purpose.

What is Fascia?

The fascia runs perpendicular to the ground and typically constructed on 1x6 or 1x8 wood boards. It's important to wrap the fascia in an impermeable layer, such as aluminum, to keep water and snow from rotting the wood fascia boards. This will greatly enhance the appearance and increase the lifespan of the fascia boards.
